If you are planning a trip to visit Animal Kingdom you might want to familiarize yourself with the park ahead of your trip. While you can get an Animal Kingdom map at the park entrance, you may want to download it to your phone so you have it when you need it.
Animal Kingdom Map & Park Layout
Animal Kingdom is a set of Lands that surrounds the Tree of Life. Each land has its own sets of rides & attractions themed to that particular land.
Discovery Island — This is the center of the park and where you will find The Tree of Life, which houses within its trunk “It’s Tough to be a Bug.”
Pandora – The World of Avatar — Built to look like you are on another planet, you will find floating mountains, glowing plants and will be able to fly on the back of a banshee during Flight of Passage attraction.
Africa — Walk through the heart of Africa with tribal music, village vendors & the chance to up close with a number of wild animals. Venture on Kilimanjaro Safaris, to see lions, zebra, giraffes and other magnificent animals roaming freely. Take the Wildlife Express steam train from Africa to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, an interactive conservation center where guests can learn more about animals and their habitats.
Asia — You can walk ancient Asian ruins to see exotic animals, take a runaway train adventure where you may encounter a mysterious yeti or go on a white-water raft adventure through a threatened rainforest.
DinoLand U.S.A. — Go back in time and walk the land of dinosaurs. This part of the park is dedicated to the historic creatures that once roamed the earth. You can search for them or ride on them!
At Theater in the Wild, near Dinoland, you will find “Finding Nemo-The Musical.” This musical takes you on a journey with magnificent puppetry!
