Disney Wish Cruise Ship

The Disney Wish is the fifth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and is packed full of new experiences for families! This ship has the first Disney attraction at sea, family dining themed to “Frozen” and Marvel, a bar that transports guests to an immersive tour of the Star Wars galaxy, and original Broadway-style stage productions! As you probably already know, each Disney cruise ship has a uniquely designed atrium.

The one on the Disney Wish is no different.

Its theme is enchantment and it is evident in everything from the Wish Upon a Star Chandelier to the bronze statue of Cinderella.

Guests will also be able to see Cinderella’s magical glass slipper on display in the atrium.

The rest of the ship also contains images of Cinderella in both tapestry and mosaic form.

Pool Deck

The main pool deck features six pools themed around Mickey & Friends that are staggered on tiered decks and surrounded by lounge chairs.

Guests can enjoy a place in the sun or in the shade and can also easily watch movies poolside.

The Disney Wish also has a Toy Story-themed water play area for little ones and a water slide small kids can enjoy.

This splash zone features fountains, bubblers and even a small slide.

AquaMouse

Similar in design to the AquaDuck, the AquaMouse takes riders on a journey through 760 feet of winding tubes above the ship.

As guest make their way around the ship, “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” animated shorts play along with neon lighting and special effects.

Adult Only Pool

Quiet Cove is an adult-only pool set away from the bustle of family activities.

Adults can spend time enjoying a beverage from the private bar or cafe while lounging on the padded chairs & rockers.

The best part of the adult-only area of the Disney Wish is the infinity pool and cooling stations at the rear of the ship that offer some of the most incredible views.

Cove Cafe 

This adult-only lounge serves up gourmet coffees, teas, specialty drinks and treats.

Guests will find it relaxing with Oceania-inspired artistry of Disney’s “Moana.”

Main Dining on the Disney Wish

Disney Cruise Line is known for its outstanding revolving dining where you and your servers move from one of three restaurants on a rotating basis.

On the Disney Wish, there are three wonderful restaurants:

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

This“Frozen”-themed theatrical dining experience brings the world of Arendelle to life through immersive live entertainment featuring Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf.

Not only do they perform some of the most beloved songs from the movie, but the characters also make an appearance to their royal guests.

The menu has Nordic influences and mainly consists of steak and seafood entrees.

Worlds of Marvel 

This restaurant is the first-ever Marvel cinematic dining adventure, where guests play an interactive role in an action-packed Avengers mission that unfolds around them.

Big screens bring to life many of the popular characters from the Marvel Universe.

The worldly menu is inspired by popular destinations in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

1923

This restaurant is named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded and pays homage to the golden age of animation.

The menu here is made up of traditional Californian dishes.

Optional Dining Experiences

Marceline’s Market

If you wish to enjoy a buffet meal for breakfast or lunch, you will want to visit Marceline’s Market.

The breakfast buffet consists of American favorites like eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes and fresh fruit. Mickey Waffles can also be found nearly every morning at the kids station.

For lunch, guests can dine on freshly carved meats, pasta, soups and salad. Guests can even find charcuterie boards!

Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods

Several food stalls are available on the pool deck for lunch and dinner.

They include Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, and Goofy’s Grill.

Guests will also find Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream which is free all cruise long!

Inside Out Joyful Sweets Shop

Guests with a sweet tooth, will want to check out this dessert shop that features nearly 40 flavors of gelato and ice cream along with signature treats inspired by Inside Out.

Selections like macaroons, truffles, krispy rice treats and colorful cupcakes representing the five emotions are available as well.

The sweets in this shop range in price and are similar to what you would expect to pay in the Disney theme parks.

Kids Clubs

It’s a Small World Nursery is for kids 6 months to 3 years. It will offer babysitting services in a whimsical environment.

Disney’s Oceaneer Club is for children 3-12 and is filled with spaces to inspire creativity, imaginative play and interactive play. Here is what you can find:

  • Marvel Super Hero Academy is a high-tech Avengers headquarters where young “recruits” will train to be the next generation of superheroes.
  • Fairytale Hall is a set of activity rooms where princesses and princes can let their creativity shine. at Rapunzel’s Art Studio, read and act out stories at Belle’s Library, and test newfound icy powers at Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus.
  • Walt Disney Imagineering Lab is a first-of-its-kind opportunity for kids to discover the secrets of world-renowned Disney Imagineers with hands-on activities and inventive experiments.

Edge (ages 11 to 14) and Vibe (ages 14 to 17) are trendy hangouts where tweens and teens can chill and play in their own way, with dedicated programming designed to engage the unique interests of these age groups.

Adult Spaces

Senses Spa is the perfect place for rest and relaxation. Guests will find spa and beauty treatments, drawing on the serenity of natural elements to promote pampering and relaxation.

Senses Fitness will offer state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facilities to be enjoyed by adults looking to get in a workout while onboard.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge is a high-end bar styled as a luxurious yacht-class spaceship.

This richly themed Star Wars bar offers tasting experiences and signature beverages inspired by destinations such as Batuu, Tatooine and Mustafar.

While enjoying your beverage, you will be traveling through time and space.

The Bayou

When it comes to places to listen to live music, The Bayou offers guests the best experience.

Set to look as though you’ve stepped straight into the Lousiana Bayou,  from “The Princess and the Frog,” you’ll find comfortable seating and signature New Orleans-inspired cocktails.

Hook’s Barbery

Gentlemen onboard the Disney Wish can enjoy a haircut and a shave with a beverage at Hook’s Barbery.

Hidden inside, men will find a treasure trove of pre-Prohibition bourbons, vintage whisky and port, aged rum and premium spirits.

Adult Only Dining

  • Palo Steakhouse combines the relaxed sophistication of authentic Italian dining with the classic refinement of a modern steakhouse with theming based around Cogsworth, the Beauty & the Beast’s majordomo-turned-enchanted-clock.
  • Enchanté offers the most luxurious dining experience on board, featuring a gourmet menu crafted by three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement. This romantic and intimate dining experience has theming based on the spirit of Lumiere.
  • The Rose is a chic lounge at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. Inspired by the fateful flower at the heart of Beauty & the Beast, The Rose is the perfect place to grab a drink before or after dinner.

Family Entertainment

Walt Disney Theater

When it comes to nightly shows, guests will find the Walt Disney Theater the place to be.

The shows include Aladdin, a Musical Spectacular, Disney Seas the Adventure and The Little Mermaid.

Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas 

There are actually two movie theaters onboard the Disney Wish Cruise ship where guests can go to see classic and first-run films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm.

Disney Wish Staterooms

Every stateroom onboard the Disney Wish has been designed with families in mind!  1,254 staterooms will offer an ocean view — including 877 (70%) with a spacious verandah.

451 of these rooms will have connecting doors that adjoin rooms that can accommodate larger families.

The staterooms have an enchanted theme inspired by well-beloved Disney classics and offer plenty of storage for all your belongings.

Most will also feature the signature Disney split bath.

Overall, the Disney Wish offers a wonderful storytelling experience throughout the entire ship. While this ship is laid out differently than previous ships, it is themed perfectly and offers many unique spaces to explore!
